The Symposium also demonstrated how adults with ID can get involved as ‘co-producers’ of educational and informational materials that are ‘Easy to Understand’ to help inform other disabled people about their human rights. This event explored how people with ID can be actively involved as employees and as volunteers in creating accessible information in Easy to Read & Understand formats, particularly on the subject of people’s rights and skills for independent living.

Ajay Choksi a self-advocate and Technical Assistant from the RIX Centre, produced a multimedia Wiki Website that gives his own account of the PUZZLE Symposium.
